Even though her name is frosty, the Frosted Waves Cardi will feel like a warm hug! Using sport weight yarn from The Frosted Stitch on the “Frosted” colorway as the main color, plus an assortment of coordinating hues as the contrast colors, the Frosted Waves Cardi is here to wrap you up in flowy waves of texture and comfort. The dolman sleeve is the perfect construction to combine style and comfort, providing ample positive ease without ever interrupting the flow of the wavy pattern. The stitch pattern looks interesting enough to feel complex, but in reality, it’s a straightforward repetition that’s easy to memorize.

The Daisy Festival Top is the ultimate boho-chic crop top for an effortlessly charming outfit. Featuring cute floral motifs, braided straps, and playful tassels, it's a summer essential. The Scorpio Mitten is the fourth pattern in the Scorpio lineup, and it’s the most advanced of the bunch, giving you the opportunity to challenge yourself and truly master the art of interlocking crochet. Having previously completed an easier pattern, such as the Scorpio Cowl, will be beneficial before starting the mittens. The Scorpio Mittens introduce two new techniques: joining two pieces of fabric together while working in pattern, and decreasing in interlocking pattern. Just like the all the other designs in the #MyZodiacSweater collection, for the reversible section of these mittens you’ll only have to work with 1 color at a time, dropping the inactive yarn at the start of a round and picking it back up at the start of the new round.

The Scorpio Cowl uses the same reversible stitch pattern as the Scorpio Raglan and Beanie, so you can make yourself a matching set. Even though it’s the third design published in the Scorpio lineup, the cowl is probably the easiest to master. It’s worked from the bottom up in rounds and can be easily adjusted both in circumference and in height in order to fit your vision.

A sister pattern to the Scorpio Raglan, the Scorpio Beanie uses the same reversible stitch pattern so you can make yourself a matching set. The beanie is worked from the top down, starting with the crown and increasing your way down until you reach the final circumference. This is where the interlocking fun starts! Just like the all the other designs in the #MyZodiacSweater collection, for the reversible section of this beanie you’ll only have to work with 1 color at a time, dropping the inactive yarn at the start of a round and picking it back up at the start of the new round.

The 2x2 Crochet Hat is worked from side to side, featuring crown shaping achieved with the short rows technique. The extended half double crochet and slip stitch pattern mimics the beloved 2x2 ribbed fabric from knitting. The crochet fabric provides a thicker hat with more structure, yet it is just as stylish. The hat is very stretchy and is intended to be worn with 3-6” (7.5-15 cm) of negative ease. Depending on your yarn and fiber, the elasticity of the fabric may change. This pattern allows for an easy modification of the circumference in order to account for different elasticities.

The Scorpio is mysterious and has many secrets to reveal. Be it the reversible nature, or the different styles the pattern comes in, this design is the epitome of versatile. Wear it right side out to show off the starry pattern, or turn it wrong side out and have a checkered sweater. Opt for a wool fiber and the snuggly, oversized version for the ultimate cozy fit. Or go for a summer fiber like cotton and pick the fitted, slim style with short sleeves for your new favorite summer tee.

The Sagittarius Beanie is the sister-pattern to the Sagittarius Sweater, both published in the Zodiac Crochet Collection – a series of crochet garments and accessories that follow a common theme: colorwork made easy. Use hashtag #MyZodiacSweater when posting your makes on social media!

The Sagittarius Sweater is a classic circular yoked sweater, but with my own twist added to it. The theme of the #MyZodiacSweater collection is "colorwork made easy", and the Sagittarius is no exception. So, I've come up with a technique which I think you’ll find both fun and intriguing.

The Leo Tank is a seamless tank top worked from the bottom up, using a beautiful two-colored stitch pattern. When crocheting in joined rounds, the invisible join method is a neat and easy way to end your rounds. It produces a seam that is way less noticeable than the regular "slip stitch to join" method and, depending on the particular stitch pattern, it can be 100% invisible! The photo tutorial below uses the single crochet stitch worked in back loop only (SC in BLO or bloSC) as an example, but the same method applies regardless of the stitch your pattern calls for!

The Cancer Cami is the fifth garment design published in the #MyZodiacSweater Collection – a series of crochet garments and accessories that follow a common theme: colorwork made easy. Each design is named after one of the star signs, and uses multiple colors for a contrasting effect. The stitch patterns are carefully selected, so that you only have to work with one color at a time. Use hashtag #MyZodiacSweater when posting on social media!

The Hourglass Crochet Top is an elegant, intricate looking yet deceptively simple design. The slow nature of working with fingering weight yarn is significantly offset by the tall stitches which work up quicker than you’d expect. The top is worked seamlessly from the top down and features a modified drop shoulder construction, with shaping at the underarm and the sleeves to minimize the bulkiness of the traditional drop shoulder sweater and provide a more flattering fit. The pattern is written for 18 sizes, with finished busts ranging from 28" to 70".

The No Slip Stitch Given Beanie is designed for those of us who have a love-hate relationship with slip stitches. Do you love the faux-knit look that the slip stitch pattern creates, but hate how long it takes to work up? Me too! The Congruence Shawl is designed specifically to be a one-cake-wonder project, making it the perfect WIP to take with you on vacation. Using roughly 1000 m of fingering weight yarn, this shawl will work up in no time, and the meditative stitch patterns will truly allow you to relax while working on it. The stitch patterns create a fabulous drape that’s an absolute dream to wrap around your neck. All the while not giving up on the abundance of texture, even on the lace sections.

The Every Which Way Beanie is the ultimate stash buster. Make it in any yarn weight your heart desires – the texture will look beautiful in every yarn. The pattern works up quickly, featuring your new next favorite stitch: the linked double crochet. This modified stitch is a fun spin on the regular double crochet, and you will be surprised by how easy, fast, and beautifully textured it is!

The Libra Pullover is a seamless, yoked sweater worked from the top down, using at least two contrasting colors to create an eye-catching grid effect. Using a single color at a time, this crochet sweater will work itself up in no time! I walk you through the invisible join method, so the back of your sweater will look just as neat & awesome as the front. With an oversized fit at the bust and cozy bubble sleeves, this is the type of crochet sweater you’ll want to live in. The sweater features short rows to raise the back neck and provide a better fit. The pattern also provides detailed instructions for tapered sleeves.

The Libra Bag is a bucket bag worked from the bottom up using almost entirely variations of the single crochet stitch. The round base is made using the thick and durable waistcoat stitch, while the body uses a fun stitch pattern with a grid-like effect. The bag is closed with a drawstring at the top and the strap is added last. Go for 2 solid, contrasting colors, or show off your creativity and create gradients on one of the colors! This bag has been worked up in so many different color combos, and they all look amazing.

Do you ever wish there was someone to tell you exactly how many rows there are left to crochet in your sweater? Or nudge you when you need to decrease in the sleeves without constantly looking back and forth between your project and the pattern? Or maybe you don’t want to print out a copy of each pattern, but you’d still love to be able to draw on them and make notes as you go? If any of these sound like scenarios you’ve found yourself in, then you are in for a treat!

Sometimes, a pattern calls for you to turn your work after every round. While it's seemingly easy enough not to forget if you've turned or not, the situation becomes a little less clear when it's time for you to pick up your work again after you've put in on hold for a while. This occurs in particular when it's time to add the sleeves on a circular yoke or raglan sweater which is worked in turned rounds.

Have you ever worked on a crochet project before, set it aside for a while, only to completely forget what hook size you used on it? Or maybe you've been swatching for a new pattern test and can't remember which hook size you meet gauge with? You are not alone. I used to write the hook size for my projects and swatches on small pieces of paper and attach those to the fabric, but you know how it goes with disposable pieces of paper. They get lost and they're also not very pretty to look at. Enter, your DIY set of crochet hook sizes! If you're into crafts like I am, you probably already have all the supplies needed just sitting in your arsenal.

The linked double crochet stitch is a useful technique when you need to create a fabric with little to no gaps. The linked double crochet stitch (LDC) has the same height as the regular double crochet, but it's similar to a single crochet in terms of density. However, it isn't as stiff as a piece of fabric made entirely in SC, as it retains the drape of the regular DC.

Ever wondered what the mysterious third loop is? Or perhaps you heard of the "extra" or "third back" loop and never knew why it's useful. Well, the third back loop of a half double crochet is just that, a third loop that is situated at the back of the stitch. It's important mainly because when working into this loop, the regular front and back loops of the half double crochet stitch remain empty, creating a beautiful braided look.

Also known as the half double crochet slip stitch, the yarn over slip stitch (YO SLST) is a great alternative when you need that beautiful braided look that a HDC has, without the height of a normal HDC.

Keep your hands warm in style with these chic and customizable fingerless gloves and get used to the praise and admiration when you let people know that yes, you made them yourself! The stretchy yet sturdy ribbed cuff will gently hug your wrists while the ever-so-beautiful alpine stitch will truly make you stand out from the crowd. Make yourself and your little ones a pair or two, or stock up for your next craft fair – a pair will only take you a couple of hours to make!

This crochet pumpkin features the waistcoat stitch – a sturdy and beautifully textured stitch that creates a dense fabric, perfect for home décor items. Also known as the knit snitch, the waistcoat stitch is not really knitted, much like this pumpkin is not really a pumpkin.

The alpine stitch is a deceptively simple stitch which creates a stunning texture that is visible from afar. The alpine stitch is normally a 4-row repeat. In my patterns you’ll sometimes have to work complete repetitions of the 4 rows, or incomplete repetitions where you end the last repeat on the 2nd row.

If executed correctly, it quickly becomes a joy to crochet and you'll soon notice you start picking up speed and your wonderfully faux-knit projects will be ready in no time!

The "For the Love of Tulips" Coaster is not your ordinary granny square coaster. The crisp cotton fiber worked with an undersized hook creates loads of stitch definition and a thick, durable fabric. The lacey stitches breathe a vintage vibe throughout the design, while the rows of plump tulip flowers peeking out truly transform this motif into a modern crochet décor piece. One coaster takes roughly 2 hours to create, but before you finish your first one, you’ll already be planning your color combos for the next ones.

The Cosmopolitan Cowl is your perfect accessory for the spring season, and was designed to go perfectly with your Cosmopolitan Beanie – check out both patterns to create your own unique set! This chic beanie pattern is suitable for any season, but you'll love it in particular as a transitional piece – during spring and autumn, when the weather is just hot enough to not need a super warm hat, but cold enough to be chilly without one. The folds drape beautifully at the back of the head, allowing for the beautiful alpine stitch pattern to peek through.
