Interlocking Crochet Book

For this book I developed 50 different interlocking crochet stitch patterns, each presented with clear step-by-step instructions and detailed photography. In fact, the book includes over 700 step-by-step tutorial photos! The step photography for this book is one of the things that was most time-consuming, but I wanted to make sure you have a visual resource you’re familiar with to help you gain confidence by checking your work as you go.

First, I teach you the basic concepts of interlocking crochet using a so-called Practice Square at the beginning of the book. This introductory chapter breaks down the technique to its most basic steps, teaching you all you need to know in order to crochet any interlocking pattern. I go over the setup rows, the special interlocking stitches, the edging row, the border, and I even show you the most common mistakes people make in interlocking crochet, and how to avoid them.

Then we move to the Stitch Pattern Directory. The stitch patterns from this chapter are presented with written instructions as well as a photo showing you what the end of each row looks like. This way, you can double check your work as you go to make sure you’re always on track.

To put your skills into practice, I also designed five brand new and fully reversible garment and accessory projects using stitch patterns from the book, designed to showcase the beauty and versatility of interlocking crochet!
