The Pattern
The Stained Glass Jumper reimagines one of crochet’s most iconic stitches, the granny stitch, in a way that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly modern. Layers of color and texture form a reversible fabric full of movement and depth: on one side, a crisp mesh overlay creates a grid of “stained glass” panes; on the other, the familiar granny clusters shine through in shifting tones.
This pattern comes with two style options: a long-sleeved jumper for cooler months and a short-sleeved tee for warmer weather. You can make a version that suits your wardrobe year-round!
The construction is simple, the fabric beautifully drapey, and the process surprisingly intuitive once you get into the rhythm. It’s a project that celebrates color, comfort, and versatility in equal measure.
And if you can’t get enough of the effect, don’t miss the matching Stained Glass Scarf for a perfectly coordinated finish.
