The Pattern
The Pin My Heart Cushion is the perfect home decor piece for my fellow crafty people out there. The soft sheen of the cotton and the vintage vibes of the lacy edging, paired with the heart in pink or red shades, make this crochet pincushion the perfect gift for Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day! As the name suggests, the cushion is intended to be used as a pincushion, thus being perfect for any fiber art aficionado, but I think it will also be great as an ornament!
This pattern was written with a beginner reader in mind. The level required to successfully complete this pattern can be classified as upper beginner.
In this pattern you will find detailed instructions, a bunch of tips & tricks, as well as step-by-step pictures to help you along the way. I provide detailed explanations for pretty much everything you need to know, except for the absolute basics such as the slip knot, slip stitch, chain, single crochet and double crochet. For a smoother experience though, you should already be comfortable with working the bobble stitch and changing colors, or at least be open to learning them with the help of my written instructions and pictures.
MEASUREMENTS
Approx. 5.5 by 5.5 inches (14 by 14 cm) including the lacy edging.
DIFFICULTY
Advanced beginner
