The design

The Daisy Festival Top is the ultimate boho-chic crop top for an effortlessly charming outfit. Featuring cute floral motifs, braided straps, and playful tassels, it’s a summer essential. The construction will keep your interest piqued as you watch the stacks of granny squares grow and you approach the joining phase. Wear it to a music festival, at the beach, or just on a casual day out – it’s guaranteed to turn some heads!

This pattern was published originally is in Crochet Foundry Magazine, the Spring 2024 issue. My very talented tester, Lydia @folded.moth, is featured on the cover! She used a mix of Hobbii Twister for the contrast colors, and Hobbii Twister Solid for the main color. Grab your copy of the digital magazine here.

How To Crochet The Slip Stitch Join

In-Depth Step-By-Step Tutorial

Designer sample

My sample uses Scheepjes Sunkissed in colors Oceanside (blue) and Noonday Sun (yellow), and Scheepjes Cotton 8 in color #700 (white).

This yarn is soft, durable, and has great stitch definition. The deeply saturated colors and soft tone variation give it a hand-dyed look at an affordable price. I would use this yarn again in my projects!

The WPI of this yarn is 14. Learn how to measure the WPI of your yarn.
